Established in 2019, Afia Noor (AFN) boasts a rich legacy rooted in family-owned manufacturing. The journey began in 1966 when Sheikh Muhammad Sarwar, the father of Mr. Farhan Sarwar and the current Chairman of Afia Noor, initiated a local shop focused on selling canvas. This venture gained momentum by catering to the burgeoning demand for canvas among tent manufacturers.

In a pivotal move in 1973, Mr. Sarwar established the first manufacturing facility, H. Sheikh Noor-ud-Din & Sons, to address the escalating global demand for tents. This facility became a hub for the production of high-quality tents, tarpaulins, and canvas. A significant milestone was reached in 1980 when the company commenced supplying tents to the United Nations during the Iran-Iraq War.

Maintaining unwavering standards of production and quality, H. Sheikh Noor-ud-Din & Sons earned acclaim as one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of essential relief items, shelter solutions, and tools for humanitarian aid and public health sectors.
